Data We Collect
We collect three categories of data when you use SolidCorn:
a. Account & Registration Information
Information you provide when creating or managing your account:
- Full name and display name
- Business email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Company name, industry, and plan details
- Profile photo and business logo (optional)
b. User-Controlled Business Data
Data that you and your team create, import, or manage within the platform. This is your data — we process it only on your instruction:
- Lead, customer, and contact records
- Sales pipeline stages and transaction data
- Product and asset catalog entries
- Custom field schemas and configuration settings
- Review and feedback data collected via your profile
- Business hours, location, and social media links
This data is entirely controlled and managed by you. SolidCorn acts solely as a data processor and does not analyse, monetise, or share this data without your instruction.
c. Technical & Usage Data
Data automatically collected when you use the Service:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Device type, operating system, and browser information
- Pages visited, features used, and session duration
- Error logs and performance metrics
- Referral source and UTM parameters
How We Use Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
Service delivery
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the platform
- Processing payments and managing your subscription

Data Ownership

- SolidCorn acts as a data processor — not a data owner or controller of your business data
- We do not access your business data except to provide technical support when explicitly authorised by you
- You may export your data at any time from your account dashboard
- Upon account deletion, your data is handled in accordance with our retention policy (see Section 8)
You are the data controller for all personal data belonging to your customers and contacts. You are responsible for ensuring your use of SolidCorn complies with applicable data protection laws.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to any third party. Ever.
We may share limited data with trusted third parties only when necessary:
Payment processors
- Razorpay — for processing subscription payments (subject to Razorpay's Privacy Policy)
Cloud infrastructure providers
- AWS, DigitalOcean, or equivalent providers for hosting and data storage
- These providers are contractually bound to keep your data secure and confidential
Analytics & monitoring
- Aggregated, anonymised usage analytics to improve the platform
- Error monitoring tools to diagnose and fix technical issues
Legal disclosure
- To comply with a court order, subpoena, or valid legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of SolidCorn, its users, or the public
- We will notify you of legal data requests where legally permitted to do so
Data Security

Data Retention

Active accounts

- Business data (leads, products, contacts) is retained as long as your account exists
- Technical and usage logs may be retained for up to 12 months for security and debugging
After account deletion
- Your data is retained for up to 30 days to allow for reactivation or data export
- After 30 days, data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems
- Certain financial records (e.g., invoices, payment history) may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law
We strongly recommend exporting your data before deleting your account. Once permanently deleted, data cannot be recovered.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data. We honour these rights for all users regardless of jurisdiction:
